Beethoven's Digital Experiment
A rhythm game built around the player's own compositions.
Designed and developed by Shuran in Python, using pygame-ce and pygame_gui. The idea connects two of his long-standing activities: making music and building interactive software.

The project
Beethoven's Digital Experiment connects music composition with rhythm-game interaction. Players arrange custom musical patterns, generate playable charts, and play their own music using the keyboard.
Inside the application
The application includes a music editor, automatic chart generation, and keyboard gameplay with tap, catch, and hold notes. Separate modules manage audio, editing, chart generation, input, and game state.
Further development
Planned directions include better difficulty balancing, improved chart-generation algorithms, user-added instruments, and clearer rhythm visualization.
