About

Shuran Yang is a student at Shanghai Foreign Language School in Shanghai, graduating in 2027. His focus is computer science, and he works with Python, C++, and R.

His software projects span different settings. He co-develops Music for Alzheimer with a fellow student and clinical collaborators, and worked on a patient-guidance mini-program during a hospital IT internship. Independently, he designed a rhythm game that lets players compose and play their own music.

Music is an ongoing practice for him. He plays the accordion, produces electronic music, and founded his school's Music Technology Club to bring students together through composition and production.

He speaks Mandarin, English, and German, and founded the school's German Language Club. Outside his projects, he volunteers in hospitals and with Special Olympics East Asia.
